Carabantes is a municipality in Spain, located in the province of Soria within the autonomous community of Castile and León. It lies in the eastern part of the country's interior, in a region characterised by a sparse, rural landscape and a small, dispersed population.
The municipality is notable for its very small size. According to the 2004 census conducted by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), Carabantes had a population of just 33 inhabitants, making it one of the many thinly populated settlements typical of the Soria countryside.
