Cañizo, whose full name is Cañizo de Campos, is a municipality in Spain. It is located in the province of Zamora, within the autonomous community of Castile and León.
The municipality is a small, rural settlement typical of the sparsely populated countryside of the Zamora province. Its official full name, Cañizo de Campos, reflects its setting in the flat, open terrain characteristic of the region.
