Busto de Bureba is a municipality and town in the province of Burgos, within the autonomous community of Castile and León, Spain. It is located in the comarca of La Bureba, a district in the northeastern part of the province, from which the town takes part of its name.
The municipality is small and rural, with a population of 140 inhabitants recorded in the 2025 census by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE). Like many settlements in this part of Burgos, it is set within an agricultural landscape typical of the La Bureba comarca, a region that serves as a crossroads between the Ebro valley and the northern plateau.
As a municipality, Busto de Bureba holds the administrative status of municipio and includes the town itself as its principal settlement. Its small population reflects the broader demographic pattern of rural Burgos, where many municipalities number only a few hundred residents or fewer.
