Borrenes is a village and municipality in the province of León, within the autonomous community of Castile and León, Spain. It is located in the region of El Bierzo, in the northwestern part of the country.
The municipality had a population of 402 inhabitants according to the 2010 census. As a municipality, it encompasses the village of Borrenes together with any smaller settlements within its administrative boundaries.
