Borobia is a municipality in Spain, located in the province of Soria within the autonomous community of Castile and León. It lies in the eastern part of the country, in a region characterised by a continental climate and a landscape of plains and nearby mountain ranges.
According to the 2004 census conducted by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), the municipality had a population of 347 inhabitants. Like many small municipalities in rural Soria, Borobia has a low population density and a settlement pattern centred on its main village nucleus.
The municipality is one of many small, sparsely populated localities that make up the province of Soria, a province known for its medieval heritage and its role within the broader Castile and León region. Borobia's administrative status as a municipality means it has its own local government and is recognised as a distinct entity within the Spanish municipal system.
