Belbimbre

Spain

Belbimbre is a municipality and town in the province of Burgos, within the autonomous community of Castile and León, Spain. It is a small settlement in this largely rural part of northern Spain, where the province of Burgos forms part of the broader Castilian plateau region.

The municipality is sparsely populated. According to the 2004 census conducted by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), Belbimbre had a population of 80 inhabitants. This figure reflects the pattern of small, low-density municipalities characteristic of the Burgos countryside.

As a municipality, Belbimbre holds the administrative status that in Spain covers both the town itself and its surrounding municipal territory. Its small population and location in Castile and León define its basic character as a minor rural locality within the province of Burgos.
