Becerril de Campos is a municipality in Spain, located in the province of Palencia within the autonomous community of Castile and León. It lies in the Tierra de Campos, a broad, flat agricultural district of the northern Meseta that stretches across parts of Palencia, Valladolid, León and Zamora.
The town is one of the historic settlements of the Tierra de Campos, a region long associated with cereal farming and with a dense concentration of Mudéjar-style brick architecture. Like other municipalities in the province of Palencia, it forms part of the comarca centred on the city of Palencia, the provincial capital, which lies to the east.
Becerril de Campos is administered as a municipality, the basic unit of local government in Spain, comprising the town itself together with any associated smaller settlements and surrounding rural land. Its population has declined over recent decades, in line with many rural municipalities in Castile and León.
