Barjas is a village and municipality in Spain, located in the region of El Bierzo within the autonomous community of Castile and León. It is a small rural settlement in the northwestern part of the country.
The municipality is sparsely populated. According to the 2010 census carried out by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), Barjas had a population of 261 inhabitants.
