Arraya de Oca

Spain

Arraya de Oca is a municipality and town in the province of Burgos, within the autonomous community of Castile and León, Spain. It is located in the northern part of the country, in the region historically known as the Oca valley area of Burgos province.

The municipality is very small; according to the 2004 census carried out by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), it had a population of 53 inhabitants. This makes it one of the many sparsely populated rural municipalities characteristic of the Burgos countryside.

Arraya de Oca is both a municipality and a town, meaning the local administrative entity and its principal settlement share the same name. Aside from its status as a municipality within Burgos province and its recorded population figure, few other details are established in the available source material.
