Amusco is a municipality in the province of Palencia, within the autonomous community of Castile and León in northern Spain. It is a small rural settlement typical of the Tierra de Campos district, a broad, flat agricultural plain that stretches across parts of Palencia, Valladolid, León and Zamora.
The surrounding landscape is dominated by cereal farming, and the local economy has long been tied to agriculture. Amusco lies a short distance north of the provincial capital, Palencia, and is connected to it and to neighbouring towns by local roads.
