Aguilafuente is a municipality in the province of Segovia, within the autonomous community of Castile and León, Spain. It lies in the central part of the country, in a region characterised by the plains and small historic settlements of the Castilian interior.
According to the 2004 census carried out by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), the municipality had a population of 773 inhabitants. This figure reflects the modest size typical of many rural municipalities in the province of Segovia.
As a municipality, Aguilafuente forms part of the local administrative structure of the province of Segovia, one of the nine provinces that make up Castile and León. The town is one of numerous small communities that together constitute the demographic and cultural landscape of this part of central Spain.
