Abezames is a municipality in Spain, located in the province of Zamora within the autonomous community of Castile and León. It lies in the northwestern part of the country, in a region characterised by a continental Mediterranean climate and a landscape of rolling plains and farmland.
According to the 2004 census conducted by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), the municipality had a population of 95 inhabitants. This small population figure reflects the pattern of rural depopulation seen across much of inland Spain, where many municipalities in the province of Zamora have experienced a steady decline in residents over recent decades.
