Paredes de Escalona is a municipality in the province of Toledo, within the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It is located in the central part of the country, in the region historically known as Castile.
The municipality is small in population. According to the 2006 census conducted by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), Paredes de Escalona had 145 inhabitants. This figure reflects the modest size typical of many rural municipalities in the province of Toledo.
As a municipality, Paredes de Escalona forms part of the local administrative structure of the province of Toledo and the wider Castile-La Mancha region. Its name associates it with the nearby town of Escalona, also in the province of Toledo.
