Nombela is a municipality in Spain, located in the province of Toledo within the autonomous community of Castilla–La Mancha. It lies in the central part of the country, in the region south of Madrid.
The municipality is a small, rural community. According to the 2006 census conducted by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), Nombela had a population of 981 inhabitants.
As a municipality of the province of Toledo, it forms part of the administrative structure of Castilla–La Mancha, one of Spain's seventeen autonomous communities.
