Manzaneque

Spain

Manzaneque is a municipality in Spain, located in the province of Toledo within the autonomous community of Castilla–La Mancha. It lies in the central part of the country, in a region historically associated with the broader Castilian plateau.

The municipality covers a total area of 12.22 square kilometres. As of 1 January 2024, its registered population stood at 398 inhabitants, making it a small and sparsely populated settlement by Spanish municipal standards.

Its administrative status as a municipality of the province of Toledo places it within one of the larger provinces of Castilla–La Mancha, a region that encompasses both rural villages and larger urban centres. The combination of a modest land area and a population of fewer than four hundred residents indicates a compact, low-density community typical of parts of inland Spain.
