Cobeja is a municipality in Spain, located in the province of Toledo within the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha. It lies in the central part of the country, in the region south of Madrid that makes up the historical territory of Castile.
According to the 2006 census conducted by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), the municipality had a population of 2,047 inhabitants. As a municipality, Cobeja is one of the many small administrative units that make up the province of Toledo, a largely rural area of Castile-La Mancha.
