Cabañas de Yepes is a municipality in the province of Toledo, within the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It lies in the central part of the country, in the region historically known as La Mancha.
The municipality is small in population; according to the 2006 census conducted by Spain's national statistics institute (INE), it had 265 inhabitants. Its administrative status is that of a municipality (municipio), the basic local government unit in Spain.
As a settlement in the province of Toledo, Cabañas de Yepes belongs to one of the larger provinces of Castile-La Mancha, a region whose landscape and heritage are closely associated with the plains of central Spain.
