Arbancón is a municipality in Spain, located in the province of Guadalajara within the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha. It lies in the central part of the country, in the region historically known as the Serranía de Guadalajara, north of the provincial capital.
According to the 2004 census conducted by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), the municipality had a population of 197 inhabitants. This small population figure reflects the modest size of the community and its rural character, typical of many municipalities in the sparsely populated interior of Castile-La Mancha.
As a municipality, Arbancón holds the administrative status granted to Spanish towns and villages that have their own local government. Its small resident population places it among the many minor municipalities that make up the province of Guadalajara.
