Ajofrín is a municipality in the province of Toledo, in the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It lies within the comarca of the Montes de Toledo, south of the city of Toledo.
As of 2008, the municipality had a population of 2,328 inhabitants. Its name derives from the Arabic Al-Ya'rar, meaning "the place of the Yafar or Jafar", a reminder of the region's Islamic past.
