Tegueste is a town and municipality located in the northeastern region of the island of Tenerife. It is situated within the Santa Cruz de Tenerife province of the Canary Islands, Spain.
The municipality is surrounded by San Cristóbal de La Laguna. Geographically, Tegueste is positioned 4 km northwest of San Cristóbal de La Laguna and 11 km northwest of the island's capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The town gained its independence from San Cristóbal de La Laguna during the 17th century.
