Plasencia de Jalón is a municipality in the province of Zaragoza, in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It is located in the Ebro valley area of northeastern Spain, within the comarca of Valdejalón.
According to the 2004 census carried out by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), the municipality had a population of 368 inhabitants. This small population figure reflects the modest size typical of many rural municipalities in the region.
As a municipality, Plasencia de Jalón forms part of the local administrative structure of Zaragoza province, one of the three provinces that make up Aragon alongside Huesca and Teruel.
