Pinseque is a municipality in the province of Zaragoza, in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It lies in the Ebro river basin, in the comarca of Ribera Alta del Ebro, a short distance northwest of the city of Zaragoza.
According to the 2014 census published by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), Pinseque had a population of 3,625 inhabitants, giving it a population density of 224.88 people per square kilometre. That density reflects a relatively compact municipal territory rather than a large urban area.
The town is one of a number of small municipalities in the Zaragoza metropolitan fringe, a group of settlements that combine a residential function with proximity to the provincial capital. Its position in the Ebro valley places it within the most densely populated and economically active part of Aragon.
