Olves

Spain

Olvés is a municipality in the province of Zaragoza, in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It is a small, rural settlement located in the northeastern part of the country, within the Ebro river basin that defines much of Zaragoza province's geography.

The municipality is notable for its very small population. According to the 2004 census conducted by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), Olvés had 136 inhabitants. This makes it one of the many sparsely populated villages characteristic of rural Aragon, where low population density and aging demographics are common features of municipal life.

As a municipality, Olvés holds the administrative status that in Spain grants it a local governing body (ayuntamiento) responsible for basic public services, even at this small scale. Its inclusion in the province of Zaragoza places it within the broader cultural and historical region of Aragon, though specific details about its local economy, landmarks, or history are not widely documented.
