Munebrega

Spain

Munébrega is a municipality located in the province of Zaragoza, in the Aragon region of eastern Spain. It is one of the many small towns that make up the comarca of Calatayud, an area in the western part of the province known for its dry, hilly terrain and its historic settlements.

Like much of inland Aragon, the surrounding landscape is characterised by an arid climate and a rural economy historically rooted in agriculture. The town sits within a region that preserves a strong Aragonese cultural identity, reflected in its local traditions and architecture.

Munébrega is best known for its thermal springs, which have been used since Roman times and later developed into a spa. The town's name is often associated with these mineral waters, which remain one of its most distinctive features within the province of Zaragoza.
