Montón is a municipality in the province of Zaragoza, in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It is a small, rural settlement in northeastern Spain, within the Ebro basin region that makes up much of Zaragoza province.
The municipality is notable for its very small population. According to the 2004 census recorded by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), Montón had 144 inhabitants. This makes it one of the many sparsely populated villages characteristic of rural Aragon.
As a municipality, Montón forms part of the local administrative structure of Zaragoza province, with its own municipal government. Its small size and rural setting place it among the lesser-known settlements of the region rather than among Aragon's larger urban centres.
