Maicas is a municipality in the province of Teruel, in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It is a small, sparsely populated rural settlement in this inland region of northeastern Spain.
According to the 2004 census carried out by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), Maicas had a population of 39 inhabitants. This very low figure reflects the pattern of depopulation common to many small municipalities in the Teruel area.
