Loscos is a municipality in the province of Teruel, in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It is located in the eastern part of the country, within the comarca of Jiloca in the Iberian System mountain range.
The municipality covers a rural area typical of the Teruel highlands, characterised by a sparse population and an economy historically based on agriculture and livestock. According to the 2004 census by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), Loscos had a population of 184 inhabitants, reflecting the broader demographic decline seen across many inland Aragonese municipalities during the twentieth century.
Like many villages in the region, Loscos preserves elements of traditional Aragonese architecture, including stone houses and a parish church. Its small population and remote setting make it representative of the depopulated rural areas of Teruel province.
