Jorcas is a municipality in the province of Teruel, within the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It is a small, sparsely populated rural settlement located in the eastern part of the country.
The municipality is notable for its very small population. According to the 2018 census conducted by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), Jorcas had 34 inhabitants. This figure places it among the many depopulated villages characteristic of the Teruel region, where low population density is a common feature.
As a municipality, Jorcas holds the administrative status of a local entity within the Spanish system of government, encompassing the village itself and its surrounding territory. Its small size and remote location mean it remains largely unknown outside its immediate area.
