Jaraba

Spain

Jaraba is a municipality in the province of Zaragoza, in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It is located in the northeastern part of the country, within the Ebro basin region that makes up much of Zaragoza province.

According to the 2004 census conducted by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), the municipality had a population of 316 inhabitants. This small population figure reflects the modest scale typical of many rural municipalities in inland Aragon.

As a municipality, Jaraba holds the administrative status that in Spain denotes a basic local government unit with its own municipal authority, distinct from larger cities and from smaller dependent settlements. Its location in Zaragoza province places it within one of Spain's largest provinces by area, though the province's population is heavily concentrated in the city of Zaragoza itself.
