Grisel is a municipality in the province of Zaragoza, within the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It is a small, sparsely populated settlement typical of the rural municipalities found in this part of northeastern Spain.
The municipality is notable for its very small population. According to the 2004 census carried out by Spain's national statistics institute (INE), Grisel had a population of 60 inhabitants. This figure reflects the low population density characteristic of many villages in the Zaragoza province and the wider Aragon region.
As a municipality, Grisel forms part of the local administrative structure of the province of Zaragoza, with its own municipal government. Its small size places it among the many minor rural localities that make up the Aragonese countryside.
