Fabara (also known as Favara de Matarranya) is a municipality in the province of Zaragoza, in the Aragon region of Spain. It lies in La Franja, the Catalan-speaking strip of Aragon that runs along the border with Catalonia.
The town's local dialect is a variant of Catalan, reflecting its position within La Franja rather than the Aragonese-speaking areas to the west. According to the 2004 census (INE), Fabara had a population of 1,195 inhabitants.
