Esplús is a municipality in the province of Huesca, in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It is located in the eastern part of the province, within the comarca of La Litera (La Llitera), a district of Aragon that borders Catalonia.
According to the 2004 census carried out by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), the municipality had a population of 733 inhabitants. As with many small municipalities in rural Aragon, Esplús is characterised by a low population density and a settlement pattern centred on its main village.
The municipality lies in the Ebro basin, an area of Aragon dominated by agriculture, particularly the cultivation of cereals, fruit and other irrigated crops. Its position in the eastern Huesca province places it within the transitional zone between the Aragonese plains and the foothills leading towards Catalonia.
