Escucha is a municipality in the province of Teruel, in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It is located in the eastern part of the country, within the Teruel region of Aragon.
According to the 2005 census carried out by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), the municipality had a population of 1,097 inhabitants. This figure reflects Escucha's status as a small, sparsely populated municipality typical of much of inland Aragon.
As a municipality, Escucha holds the administrative status that in Spain denotes a self-governing local entity with its own municipal government, encompassing the settlement and its surrounding territory within the province of Teruel.
