Embid de Ariza is a municipality in the province of Zaragoza, within the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It is located in the northeastern part of the country, in the Ebro basin region of inland Aragon.
The municipality is small and sparsely populated. According to the 2004 census recorded by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), Embid de Ariza had a population of 84 inhabitants. That figure reflects the pattern of rural depopulation seen across much of inland Aragon, where many municipalities of similar size have seen their populations decline over the twentieth century.
As a municipality, Embid de Ariza holds the administrative status that gives it local governing authority within the province of Zaragoza. Its small population and rural setting place it among the many minor municipalities that make up the Aragonese countryside.
