Cubel is a municipality in the province of Zaragoza, within the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It is located in the northeastern part of the country, in the Ebro valley region that makes up much of Zaragoza province.
The municipality is small and rural. According to the 2004 census conducted by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), Cubel had a population of 198 inhabitants. This figure reflects the pattern of low, dispersed settlement typical of many villages in inland Aragon.
Cubel is one of numerous small municipalities that make up the province of Zaragoza, the largest province of Aragon by area. Its administrative status as a municipality means it has its own local government, despite its modest population.
