Bádenas is a municipality in the province of Teruel, in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It is a small, sparsely populated rural settlement located in the Jiloca comarca of the Iberian System, a mountainous and lightly inhabited part of inland eastern Spain.
The municipality is notable for its very small population. According to the 2004 census carried out by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), Bádenas had just 19 inhabitants, making it one of the least populated municipalities in the province of Teruel and in Aragon as a whole.
Like many villages in this part of Teruel, Bádenas is characterised by its diminutive size and its setting within a depopulated rural landscape. The municipality's administrative status is that of a municipio, the basic local government unit in Spain, despite its tiny resident population.
