San Roque is a municipality located in the province of Cádiz within the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. Situated on the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula, the town lies just inland from the northern side of the Bay of Gibraltar and to the north of the Gibraltar peninsula.
The municipality occupies a total surface area of 145 square kilometers. As of 2005, San Roque had a population of approximately 25,500 residents. It is situated within the comarca of Campo de Gibraltar.
