Purullena is a municipality in the province of Granada, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, southern Spain. It lies in the comarca of Guadix, within the Granada province's inland terrain.
According to the 2004 census carried out by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), Purullena had a population of 2,286 inhabitants at that time.
