Pruna

Spain

Pruna is a town in the province of Seville, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, southern Spain. It is one of the smaller municipalities within the province, situated in its southern portion near the border with the province of Málaga.

According to the 2014 census carried out by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE), Pruna had a population of 2,740 inhabitants. The town's economy and way of life have traditionally been tied to the surrounding Andalusian countryside.

Like many settlements in this part of Andalusia, Pruna reflects the region's characteristic whitewashed architecture and hilltop setting, though its small size keeps it well outside the main tourist routes of Seville province.
