Pinos Genil is a municipality in the province of Granada, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, southern Spain. It lies in the Vega de Granada area, close to the city of Granada itself.
According to the 2005 census carried out by Spain's national statistics institute (INE), the municipality had a population of 1,262 inhabitants. It is one of the smaller municipalities within the province of Granada.
