Padul is a municipality located in the Andalusia region of southeastern Spain. It is situated within the province of Granada and belongs to the comarca of el Valle de Lecrín.
The town is positioned at an altitude of 744 meters above sea level, approximately 13 kilometers south of the city of Granada. As of 2008, the municipality had a population of 8,440 inhabitants.
