Mojácar is a municipality located in the southeastern part of the Province of Almería within the Andalusia region of southern Spain. Situated along the Mediterranean coast, the town is positioned approximately 90 kilometers from the provincial capital of Almería.
The village is situated on elevated terrain and is characterized by its traditional white architecture. Adjacent to the inland town, a coastal tourist resort known as Mojácar Playa is located to the south along the coastline.
