Lentegí is a municipality in the province of Granada, in the Andalusia region of southern Spain. It is a small settlement, recorded as having a population of 342 inhabitants in the 2006 census carried out by Spain's National Statistics Institute (INE).
The municipality lies within the province of Granada, one of the eight provinces that make up Andalusia. As with other municipalities in Spain, Lentegí is a basic unit of local administration, governed by its own municipal council.
Its very small population makes it typical of the many minor municipalities scattered across the Andalusian countryside, where settlements are often compact and closely tied to the surrounding rural area.
