Larva is a municipality in the province of Jaén, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, southern Spain. It is one of the many small towns that make up the province of Jaén, a largely rural area of Andalusia known for its olive-growing landscapes.
As a municipality, Larva covers both the town itself and the surrounding rural territory administered from it. Like other settlements in the province, it forms part of the local administrative structure of Jaén within Andalusia.
