Huéneja is a municipality in the province of Granada, in the Andalusia region of southern Spain. It is located in the eastern part of the province, in the comarca of Guadix.
According to the 2004 census (INE), Huéneja had a population of 1,222 inhabitants. The municipality covers a substantial area of largely rural terrain at high elevation, situated near the northern foothills of the Sierra Nevada.
