Escúzar is a municipality in the province of Granada, in the Andalusia region of southern Spain. It is located in the comarca of the Vega de Granada, a fertile plain surrounding the city of Granada.
According to the 2005 census conducted by Spain's Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), the municipality had a population of 785 inhabitants. Like many small municipalities in the Granada area, it is a rural settlement with a modest population.
