Campillos is a municipality and town located in the province of Málaga within the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. Situated in the northwestern portion of the province, it lies within the comarca of Guadalteba and falls under the judicial district of Antequera.
The municipality covers an area of approximately 188 square kilometers. The surrounding landscape is characterized by extensive grain fields and olive groves. Additionally, the region contains several lakes that serve as habitats for local wildlife, specifically storks and flamingos.
Geographically, Campillos is positioned roughly 30 kilometers from the town of Antequera and approximately 70 kilometers from the provincial capital of Málaga.
