Benaocaz

Spain

Benaocaz is a village in the province of Cádiz, in the Andalusia region of southern Spain. It lies within the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, a protected mountainous area known for its limestone landscapes and high rainfall relative to the rest of the region.

As one of the small settlements of the Sierra de Grazalema, Benaocaz shares the character of the surrounding white villages, or pueblos blancos, that are scattered through this part of Cádiz province. Its position inside the natural park means the village is surrounded by the park's terrain rather than by open lowland farmland.
