Almargen is a town and municipality in the province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. It has a population of approximately 2,100 residents, and the natives of the town are called Almargeños.
The municipality is situated approximately 105 kilometers from the provincial capital, Málaga. It lies 43.7 km from Ronda and 48.2 km from Antequera.
