Algodonales is a city and municipality situated in the province of Cádiz, located within the Andalusia region of southern Spain. It is positioned geographically within the Sierra de Lijar, which is part of the larger Sierra de Grazalema mountain range.
The municipality is located near the neighboring towns of Zahara de la Sierra and Olvera. According to census data from 2002, the city had a population of 5,607 inhabitants.
